Start learning online
1. Read Welcome Letter and get the course information from the Course Search page.
2. Complete Media Material Request Form if needed
- The Media Material Request form is available from the particular course via the Course Search page for courses that require it.
- Videotapes/DVDs required for your class will be sent to you via UPS after we receive your completed Media Material Request Form. Videotapes must be returned to our office before the end of the term via a carrier with a tracking system. Videotapes/DVDs are for viewing purposes only and may not be duplicated. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the student.
3. Bronco NetID
If you are not sure of your account information or password you may request information from the Account coordinator online.
4. Order Textbook
- Online: order textbooks online at http://wmubookstore.com.
Note: Online ordering is only available during limited times: check dates on their website for more information about this service.
- Textbook information are available from the particular course via the Course Search page.

6. Address Change: if your address is different then the letter you received or you did not receive a letter for your online course please change your address in the Student Services area of goWMU.
- Log into the goWMU portal at: http://gowmu.wmich.edu
- On the home tab, click on Academic Services;
- next select My Self-Service and then
- click on Personal Information to get to the change of address area.
7. Log in to Blackboard Vista by going to the goWMU portal at http://gowmu.wmich.edu.
